*Arren grins and nods, her gray eyes sparkling*

"I can't wait to try them. What else do you cook? I am not very good at cooking I never really had the opportunity to do much. Maybe you can teach me sometime."

**Daeman smiled and thought for a second.**

"People have told me I've actually made Gukked egg taste pretty good, it's all in the sauces and seasonings, and trust me you need quite a bit to make those suckers taste anywhere decent. I haven't really had anyone to cook for in a long time. I'm not the best, by any means, but if someone says "surprise me", I can do just that."

**He smiles, leans over and kisses her cheek.**

"You know I'd be more than happy to show you how to cook for yourself, that way you can open yourself up to an entirely new repertoire away from ration bars...that is....provided that talking sandwich doesn't attack us again."

**He chuckles, remembering that little guy.**
"I'm not a Jedi, I'm not a Sith. I'm me, and I don't understand why that's such a hard concept."

*Arren pulls a face and replies*

"You mean you don't like my ration bar surprise?"

*then she grins and pushes her hair out of her face*

"I would love it if you were to teach me to cook. Hopefully the sandwich has long since decomposed."

**Daeman was about to reply when Karas appeared. He then stood up slowly and offered a hand to help Arren up.**

"We should probably head back over the complex too."

**He smiled down at her.**

*Arren nods and jogs after them towards the complex, heading inside she goes to the control room and watches the screens intently.Sure enough the fleet seems to be leaving.*

"Why? It makes no sense? And where are they going now?"

**Daeman heard Darwill's voice and opened the channel and spoke into it, smiling.**

"Hey Darwill, aren't you a sound for sore ears! This is Daeman along with Arren and Karas, we're here with Commander Desjardins and his Jedi forces at the outpost? You read me?"

**He waited for a response, turning to Arren and Karas.**

"Should we ask him to contact the rest of the fleet to see if they're in a trap or something? The Jen can't have retreated just for the heck of it. If they have bigger fish to fry than us...that means something bigger's going down somewhere else..."

*Arren picks up the comm unit and rather hesitantly opens a channel to her Master, she speaks quietly.*

::Master Jinn, um, it's Arren, The Jen fleet were in orbit until you dropped from hyperspace and then they ran, be careful its not a trap. We also crashed Tian's ship, um badly. Karas found a slaving operation and he took a Sith prisoner. We could use some medical supplies and Master...

*she hesitates before adding in a strained voice*

... I am so very sorry.::

*Arren groans inwardly, this was not going to be good at all.*

::Just what I told you already, well and I may have activated the beacon that brought you here because I thought the outpost was abandoned, only it wasn't.::

*She waits for the inevitable response and punishment.*

*Arren nods thinking about the ruined twisted remains of the ship lying in the ravine some klicks back*

::Okay, I can have the shuttles do that. I was least injured, Karas probably the worse though he wont let any medic look at him and attempt to heal him apart from me.::

*realising she is rambling she blushes and stops abruptly. She wonders what the other Jedi will think of her less than professional report and then finishes*

"Yes Master it will be done. Arren out.::

*She removes her finger from the comm and steps back her cheeks still burning, she inwardly scolds herself for her inability to get anything right.*

*Arren walks slowly outside not in a huge hurry to board the transport and face Master Jinn. She forces a smile for the clone and says*

"Yeah we all would like one I think. We need to stop and pick up a destroyed YT 2400 too. We may need more shuttles for that though. I don't think its flyable."

*She pauses and then says*

"Thanks."

*Arren nods and boards the Transport. The Jedi from the outpost escort the Sith prisoner onto the ship and then return to their posts. Daeman and Karas also board the transport and then the door shuts. Arren glances out of the viewport at what has been her home for this past little while and sighs, then she turns her attention to the bound prisoner and watches him lest he try to escape.*

*Arren glances at the clone and then back to the prisoner, she blushes a little and replies*

"I think we would all rather the war stopped, but we can't let the Jen win."

*She sighs as she thinks about Tian and her destroyed ship.*

"Yeah I am in so much trouble right now, you wouldn't believe."

*Arren nods, not really feeling like adding its Master Jinn she is more scared of meeting and explaining herself too. All Tian can do is yell, he can refuse to train her anymore and that would be much, much worse.*

"Nearly there."

*she says quietly as they approach the Loch Lomond. Arren breathes deeply a few times trying to calm her nerves*

**Daeman just watched Karas leave and then walked over to Arren from behind, taking her shoulders in his hands trying to comfort her.**

"You ok? How are you feeling?"

*Commander Desjardins watches the transport materialize in the sky above the outpost and the three guests, along with the Sith prisoner, walk out to the pavilion and board the craft. His Jedi, having watched them all at all times and listened to their conversations, had learned much about the romantic pair, Daeman the son of an Empress and Lsu a headstrong padawan and Antilles, a Corellian hero destined for large adventures. He had spent a large portion of his time with the Sith prisoner and had gleaned a number of important pieces of information; on slavery in the Varonat system and a larger Sith agenda...perhaps of consequence to the entire Order.

These things he thought of and reviewed in his mind as he watched the party leave his camp, where he had so graciously allowed access both in and out of at will. The transmissions made were a breach of protocol, but he felt the gain was worth the risk and patched the call through the communications shield and gained intel on the young man's ship, if only callsign and comms frequency. It paid, sometimes, to be dismissed as a nobody Jedi. They forgot you were still a Jedi...With a smile, the Commander turned back to his task and finished packing a few belongings. Things were just getting interesting...*
