A couple of Zalus' men came by with stretchers and helped them both to the infirmary for treatment. They were in no rush to go anywhere.

Hours later after some bacta Therapy, Zalus woke up and headed to the bridge. He now had the troops and the supplies but he had to inventory everything. Or at least find one among his crew that was capable. Now he admitted just how dumb it was to blow up a good quarter of Torga's guys on that asteroid base. It was neither here nor there now. By the looks of it he had two hundred men and only three space fighters including his myrmidon. Later on he brought up a map of the unknown region and used the data from transports that had no time to wipe their black box to triangulate an area where the Chancellor might be.
He found it strange that they had no coordinates to any known planet in that sector. Nor any specific ship locations, just a pick up and drop off point. Something told him he needed something a bit more punchy than a couple of corvettes and a nebulon. And Mon Cal shipyards was toast. He sat back in his chair and thought about his next move. He also thought about the contacts. Though he really did not want to use them.
He did however put in an order for starfighters, forty eight of them. Mostly A-wings and X-wings, interceptors and assault fighters is all he really needed. He also put in the order for twelve gunboats. The Nar Shadda abandoned shipyard complied. He had absolutely no idea what he was going to face, but he thought it best to be prepared. He also chuckled a bit, Cadd was going to be an issue if him and the blue man disagreed too much on piracy. Also, the prospect of a cartel finding the ex chancellor was heavily ironic. He also had to think of a plan B if the plan went belly up. Torga gave him the reins, and his syndicate had to survive him. There was a great deal on the table, but he was sure his hunch was correct.

Astro whistled from the galaxy map, excitedly and stamped his leg struts.

The noise made him jump just a little bit,"Hmm what? You found it?"

Astro beeped and whirred triumphantly, spinning in a circle.

He looked over and saw several hours of Astro looking through black boxes to find the exact dropoff and pickup point, "Damn, you even simulated a drop off and hyperspace exit from all three ships. You found the spot. It's only Oh-Five-hundred, but you did it. Hah!" He put his hands behind his head and still winced at residual pain left over. He groaned and stretched out on his captain's chair and before he knew it, he was out cold.

The beast whimpered as a medical droid applied bacta bandages on his wounds. The cold gel tingled as it sunk into his injury. Cadomedd smiled and nodded his appreciation to his robotic physician. The medical droid nodded in returned and rolled away. Cadomedd was now left in silence. It had been only a few days since he had left Nelvaan and his adoptive son but it felt like years. The beast stood up from the medical table and hobbled his way towards a large window. There in front of him, shining like a sun itself, was Nar Shadaa. Cadomedd could hardly believe it, from all the way up here the moon that he just traversed seemed peaceful, almost serene. It's low glow latched onto Cadomedd's mind and the beast began to lose focus.

His mind drifted back and forth. One moment he was with Sean escaping slavers on Tatoonie, the next moment he was back at the casino feeling the crushing weight of an explosion. Cadomedd continued this daydream waltz, feeling his mind loosen. With one turn his mind found himself back to his childhood, back to the feeling of wind rushing over his falling body, back to the moment when he collided with snow. Cadomedd's mind began to dive depper.

Cadomedd was back on that snowy planet encased in snow. He could feel the air in his lungs leave his body from the impact. The snow all around him, now, rushed into his lungs trying to fill the vacancy. The pup of a beast began to claw at the white blanket that enveloped him. His hands gripping at the frozen ocean around him. With one swipe of his hand he could feel sunlight, with another swipe he could feel wind. Cadomedd in a frenzy began to claw, and claw further out of his hole.

It took only seconds for the beast to breach the surface like a whale screaming for oxygen. Cadomedd's body fell on the frigid surface. The winds ignored Cadomedd's fur and blasted him with frost. Cadomedd could feel his body begin to fade. His eyes slowly closed. In the few last seconds of consciousness, Cadomedd could have sworn he saw a hand reach out towards him.

"Excuse me..."

Cadomedd jumped a little. His mind now snapping back to reality.

"Excuse me..."

The metallic sound of the medical droid pushed through Cadomedd's daydreams. Cadomedd shook his head and turned towards the droid.

"Yes?"

"You are blocking the way..."

Cadomedd turned around, he was indeed blocking the way. In fact, Cadomedd was on the floor. His whole body blocking any access. The beast sprung to his feet.

"Sorry about that."

"Have a nice day"

Cadomedd shrugged as the Medical droid wandered off. "What in the kriff was that?" Cadomedd thought. His childhood had always been a mystery to him, he knew there were somethings that had to be true, like he had a mother and a father. But he couldn't quite remember how he learned to channel the force, or how he got his gargatuan size. In his time there was only one man who knew that answer, and the last time they met he Cadomedd nearly died. The beast scratched his head.

Oh...Zalus

Cadomedd in a quick jog made his way towards the captain's room trying to process the random bits of memory that have been forced into his mind. The door's hissed open as the beast entered the cockpit. There was no sign of the smuggler, I mean, crime boss anywhere. Cadomedd scratched his head and took a step. His foot hit something squishy.

"That's not right..."

Cadomedd quickly turned his head to the floor. His foot had just made contact with his recent colleague's cheek.

Zalus snorted awake when he felt a mass of something smash against his face. He looked up to a giant Nelvaanian foot, and shoved it off of him as best he could, "Really? Really? An entire capital ship bridge to mosey in, and you somehow manage to walk right onto my face?"

He grumbled with irritation, "Glad you're well, but remove your foot from my head!"

Cadomedd quickly took a step back.

"So sorry!"

The beast looked down at the man in front of him.

"What are you doing on the floor?"

Zalus groaned and pushed himself up to a sitting position from the metal floor. He scratched his head and moved his braided ponytail back behind his shoulders. He looked around and saw he certainly was out of his captain's chair. And there was the galaxy map with the drop off point and pick up point still cycling through the three ships they picked up. The coordinates were already plugged in and static above the holo display. Zalus grabbed the arm of the chair and his console then pulled himself up, and back into his seat, "must have fallen out in my sleep, you patched up there Blue?"

"I think so..."

Cadomedd said staring at all of the badges that covered his body. "Normally, I don't step in front of large explosions so...I think I'll be fine?" The beast let out a cough, and he could feel the pain surge through his body.

"Maybe I'm just a bit sore..."

Cadomedd turned his attention to the map. A small dot blipped off and on in one central location. Cadomedd couldn't quite place where though. He scratched his head.

"So where are we going?"

He pointed to the holo display hovering just a few feet away, "Astro used the navigation boxes to simulate where these ships enter the unknown region and drop off their cargo, and exit the system. They just leave the supplies to be picked up by...something. Plan A is we drop off cargo with trackers exit, then reenter the area to follow the trackers. Plan B after plan A if needed is to launch a distress call big enough to attract any and all comers in case the plan goes belly up. I truly have no idea what we are trying to catch out there. Could be one ship, could be a whole damn fleet. All I know is, someone is putting galactic alliance resources into the unknown region and doesn't want anyone to know about it. If we had a Jedi this would be a little easier I'd think. But my gut instinct is telling me whatever we're trying to catch, we are grossly outgunned and outmanned."

Cadomedd scratched his chin. He studied the holo-map in front of him. Zalus was right, it does seem odd that something or someone is gathering supplies on the down low. If it was something connected to the Alliance why would they need it, and if it was something connected to the Jedi why would they hide it.

"I like the sound of plan A. It's short and sweet. Hopefully, you have good enough aim to get said trackers where they need to go."

His fingers ran through his fur trying to squeeze thoughts out of each follicle.

"It's odd that they need to leave it in one specific location. If I was a pirate and I caught on to what they were doing there would be no supplies left. Once the ships have left just speed on in, get the stuff, an swoop out. Why would you leave a cluster of goodies just sitting in space where anybody could take it."

Cadomedd leaned back.

"As for your Jedi connection...I wish I could help you there. I met a few of them during my time, but I don't know if any of them are still alive, let alone attached to any order."After all that's why you need a Jedi right, and not someone proficient in the force...."

Zalus crossed his arms with a confident grin, "Oh it's really as simple as just putting them on an Alliance crate and giving the pick up hail and jetting off again. The crate shouldn't just float away, it'll stay stationary with repulsors. Then we just follow the pickup crew."

He laughed at Cadd's remark, findijg it odd that other pirates hadn't picked up on it. In a way Cadd was right, Zalus being the only pirate to figure it out was odd. Secondly Cadd did not seem to mind calling him a pirate, "You're right, but also, the unknown region has such legends attached to it, most spacers, outlaws, and businessmen stay away from it. There's no money to be had out here, especially with it being close to vong territory and other monstrosities, it's not worth it. You only ever come here to hide. Our Chancellor most likely doesn't want to be found."

Zalus laughed, "clearly I miscommunicated. I do not have any Jedi connections. The only one I got from Torga was for House Valca on Ruusan, and some sith lady. Far too much trouble. No, what I meant was that I wish I had a Jedi on board so they could use their far seeing magics to sniff out the Chancellor. Though yeah, someone force proficient would do. Doesn't have to be of any order
"

He shrugged and leaned back, "got some starfighters on order. Care to drive a blastboat or missile boat for keeps if I had one built?"

While he talked he looked on his dstapad through the agreement that Torga had with Sophia and Luxeria. He found it rather intriguing, and it had already been put into action. Torga had many more men in his stead than even was on Nar Shadda. And far reaching connections. There apparently was a deal struck to disrupt the Dynasty internally, which meant terrorism. Men were already planted in Ions, Manaan, and Ironclad to see it out. Bored, even while talking, Zalus just gave the okay with a push of his finger on his screen that he discreetly kept out of view of Caddomedd. Then he switched to legends of adventure, and the lampshade of no real significance.

Cadomedd stared at Zalus. There was something odd about all of this. Why would someone like Zalus want to find the chancellor? Also in Cadomedd's line of work, if someone starts talking about knowing a sith, there's only a couple of options that come out of that. Most of those options involve lighting fingers. The beast stepped away from the wall and walked back over to the holo-map, his eyes bouncing back and forth between the nearby planets. Cadomedd was trying to sketch the map in his mind, just in case he needed to exit this recent partnership.

"Blastboat, sounds good to me. After the Casino, I want to stir clear of explosives for a while." Cadomedd said still looking at the holo-map. A few seconds of silence passed before Cadomedd turned back around towards his colleague.

"I never got to ask this, what with the blazing inferno we just came out of..." Cadomedd cracked a smile as crossed his arms in front of him. "Why are you searching for the chancellor? Wouldn't someone of that high rank be...you know...dangerous for the kind of people you surround yourself with?"

Zalus snorted a laugh, and nodded with amusement, he could tell the man was thinking, "Don't hurt your brain over it too much. Like I said I'm not a very nice person, and current circumstances with the machines means money is scarce because those bastards are literally everywhere. If I rescue the Chancellor, it may be worthwhile to him to have a connection in the criminal world. Plus a nice lump sum for the dangers of traversing space right now. As for you, we're heading to the unknown sector together, but you can jump ship whenever you want if our goals become too polarized."

Cadomedd nodded his head.

"Sounds good. I'll be in the hanger. Let me know when you are ready to do this thing."

Cadomedd waved his hand and made his way out of the cockpit. The gears in his head continued to turn. He kept thinking about what was on that ship. If Zalus needed a Jedi, maybe there was a Jedi on that ship. Cadomedd thought about a friend he made on Nelvaan about two to four months ago. Could it be that he had found his way onto something new, or maybe it was that other Jedi that kept appearing in his life, the one with two swords? Cadomedd scratched his chin, and continued on his way.

Astro wheeled up to Zalus after Caddomedd left and beeped and trilled with concern for the exchange. The droud had no vocabulator but it did not prevent him from whistling his concerns.

Zalus shrugged, "Well what? I said he could leave. Arguably he'd be fun to keep around."

A message came through from the Abandoned Shipyard, ::Your order is en route, we also had a run in with a couple of disgruntled outlaws. They stole a freighter and killed one of our staff.::

"Huh, unfortunate," he watched as the fighters were remote piloted into the hangars of both the Nebulon B Frigate and the Strike Class Medium Cruiser. After a couple hours the starfighters were all aboard, and a shiny new skipray blastboat for his new friend.

He then contacted the hangar from his station on the bridge,
::Cadd, buckle up down their we're headed to Unknown Space.::
