*Zane radios in and the Berserker gunship picks him up. The Malachor fighter he'd borrowed goes to rendezvous with the Concord, set to autopilot. Zane himself gets a blip on his datapad and decides to put the current mission on hold. Give the prisoners some time to spread themselves out- he didn't want to take two at once next time*

*Rita ran silently across the plains. Moving quickly she sought to escape the barking hounds and sirens blaring behind her. The only woman of the escaped nine, she was more than capable of handling herself. Just over five and a half feet tall, the woman was swift and deadly. She was a swift assassin who knew many tricks of the trade. Black hair matched her eyes and her heart. Beauty was an understatement and helped very much in her accomplishing her missions.

Charged with the deaths of nearly a dozen high ranking Mandalorian officials she rewrote the book on assassination by seduction.

A stray black lock draped over her eyes as she ducked down into a small revine on the plains. Heading for a single farmstead she had seen from a ways off she hoped to find some transportation and a good meal there. A sharpened improvised shiv in her left hand was the only weapon she had yet acquired.

Staying low, the woman crept closer towards the homestaed and the unsuspecting occupants who were clueless as to what was approaching.*

*Zane's gunship drops him on the far side of the plains, leaving him to walk off on his own after recieving orders to refuel and stock up on weapons. Zane was looking forward to employing that fine piece of workmanship.

He takes out his datapad and skims through the information he'd recieved about the criminals. A smile on his face said he wouldn't be played for an idiot this time. He whistled a tune and headed off in the direction of the prison, his weapons all in order. Which one was next...? Would he bring them in alive, or would they meet the same fate as the first two? Zane didn't care one way or the other*

A Pursuer-class prisoner ship lands. Braden exits the ship following direction given to him by Alaster to retrieve a stash of beskar. Once he has the material, he departs.

Alaster's ship comes out of Hyperspace and lands on the plains on Concord Dawn, the young man stepping out with the beskad strapped to his back. This man was always a fun one to find. He was... a few miles north. In that little township. With a quiet smile, Alaster struck off toward that little town, the plan forming in his mind

Alaster clambered aboard his ship once more, looking back at Tome, which apparently didn't know much about fire safety. The town itself was being swallowed in hellfire, despite the small nature of the original fire. He shrugged, setting a course for... well, he didn't really know. He didn't want to go back to Tython just yet. He'd just... yeah. He had. A vengeance kill. One he'd meant to deal out. How would she react to that?

As he took off, Alaster slammed his face into the controls. That... she saw that. He shouldn't have done that. He lost it in anger and suddenly took off to exact Justice on a man who wronged him. He didn't know what to say. All he had to show for it was a pair of deadly gauntlets. And he sagged back in the chair, letting the autopilot do the rest

The Hailstorm, Paralysis, Bloodculler and Destruction landed, their massive loading ramps extending to the planet surface. A full regiment of tanks deployed, all supervised by Sa'an from his RZ-1 above the field. It was beautiful. In front, there was a staggered formation of two hundred A and B class Gratu'a tanks, the slugthrower and blaster models, respectively. Behind them lay the firepower of the force, one hundred and fifty Dralshy'a tanks. They would be able to reach out and hit the hardest. Perhaps not as far, however, as the fifty or so Long range complement to the Gra'tua family, which had a full 6.2 kilometer range advantage, and brought up the rear of the battalion.

Sa'an felt good about the assault, getting in and hitting hard before they were seen or heard. Then, they'd escape, back to the carriers where they would be protected from any sort of counter or defensive. The way he planned it, there shouldn't even be time for a defensive against a tank battalion. [[::Move it out boys. You know the drill.::]]

A flurry of fighters equipped with anti-ground weaponry alongside their normal load-out shot out of the hangers, about twelve in total. Three four-man teams glided into position above the tanks. From their HUDs, they could see their target ahead. Tome, 12 o'clock on the map, nighttime and unsuspecting. The tanks began to move, kicking up dust as the Conquest above sent them detailed scans of the city. The NDW strode forward, a song of new beginnings in their minds, steel in their hearts.

[[::Lieutenant, are the guns ready?::]]

[[::All guns are go,::]] The voice replied, a little static over the line.

[[::Fire on the target on ETA one minute. Five full salvos from each gun, and none of the MDC's. This is a tactical strike, not a siege bombardment.::]]

[[::Yes captain, orders received.::]] There would be no static after the message. It had been clear, precise. Hit them hard, but not more than enough to scare them.

*As they entered the atmosphere everything turned red, Lux took note of smoke rising from a city not terribly far away. He made a mental note to stay away, for a while at least. He began to feel good about his decision to leave Bakura, then the flame disappeared and the wind hit the ship. He instantly regretted thinking anything would go according to plan. He elbowed Bobby and told him to take the ship's controls.*

I hate Murphy's Law.

*Then the engines died and Bobby looked over at Lux with a look of extreme distaste.*

I hate your mouth.

*They extended all the air brakes and tried to glide it in to the nearest softest "landing zone". Which they identified by eye. The ship soared over treetops and landed (more crashed than landed), hard, on a patch of rocky undergrowth. The last thing Bobby said in his gruff voice before passing out was "This smoke is gonna be seen for miles." Which Lux took note of and, though bleeding from multiple wounds, managed to drag both himself and Bobby from the crash site to hide in the undergrowth about 150 meters away. He bandaged himself and Bobby as best he could before collapsing and passing out himself.*

*Lux came awake slowly. Painfully. His head throbbed and his body ached in a dozen places. But more than anything else, he was thirsty. It nagged at him in a way he'd never felt before now. How long have we been unconscious... He rolled over onto his back, the sun was blocked by a few trees. He saw a pack near where Bobby lay, unconscious, likely carrying supplies. The man was breathing. That was good. Before moving towards Bobby or the pack, he took in his surroundings. He was lying in a patch of tall grass surrounded by tall trees. They were even lucky enough to be in the shade at the moment. He saw what used to be their ship a short distance away. He felt out with the Force, feeling no one nearby. He still had his weapons, not that they were needed at this point. Good. He crawled over to the pack and sifted through the contents. He found what he was looking for. A canteen. The water was hot, but it was still the best tasting water he had ever had. He stopped after a few mouthfulls, tilting Bobby's head back and pouring some down his throat. The old man coughed but most of it went down. Lux shook his head and sealed the canteen. He leaned back on his elbows and stared at the wreck. They were lucky. Very lucky. But on some level he figured, luck had nothing to do with it.

*Lux felt a change in Bobby and scooted over to him, he was slowly becoming conscious. Lux shook his head and pulled the pack over, taking the water out and holding it out for him. When Bobby was conscious and done complaining about his head, he took the water, gulping down several mouthfulls before Lux stopped him and motioned for him to slow down. Bobbly stopped drinking, took a breath, and took a look at their surrounding area. It'd been several days since they crashed, the fire had stopped, but smoke was still rising. He was a little surprised they hadn't moved. But nobody had come to investigate. That was probably a good thing. Questions would follow like, "Why did you crash your ship into our beautiful green planet?" and they would give some sort of sarcastic answer like "Oh, we thought it could use a good scar or two. Maybe some charring. It would fit your planet perfectly." And then they would get shot. Bobby took another mouthful of water, sealed the canteen, and tossed it back at Lux. He caught it and, making sure it was sealed, put it back in the pack. They looked at each other, they knew there was a city nearby. All they had to do was start walking. Lux got up and held a hand out for Bobby, who took it and rose to his feet. He groaned, put a hand on his head, and Lux put a steadying hand on his shoulder. After telling him he was good to move, they set out (at a slow pace) towards the city. Where they would get another ship, and continue on their journey. How they would get it was unknown. Bobby figured they would just have to commandeer one. Lux didn't like the idea, but wasn't entirely opposed.

Somewhere on the plains a a small light sparked up and vanished again just to return a bit brighter, pumping itself up to become stronger and stronger until it was a small nova of bright seemingly unstable light. Flickering it turned into a shape of about 3 metres height and with a humanoid shape of appearance. The tall being glowed in a bright silvery light and a strong willed observer would have probably seen something being closed around the body before clothes wrapped around it coming from seemingly nowhere. Roughly being described as a robe or something like that a hood appeared covering the head and though no face was seen a gentle bright glow emanated from the shadows of the cloth. The being as suddenly as it had come bursted in Force energy not light not dark nor grey just raw powers of the Force.

It laid the head back into the neck and looked up into the blue sky, not revealing it's face doing so but scanning something that only the being could see. The gaze went back down to the ground and then it moved into a direction. It didn't matter where ist was going to just that it moved. There had never been a destination only the path. Walking slowly for it's height and it's own nature it would have been close to running to most other living beings.

*The core ship lands in the plains, dropping off troops and supplies to the mandalorian towns and villages, garrisoning them to make them stronger. Normal troops, droids, vehicles, and supplies were brought and distributed evenly between most of the larger settlements, towns, and villages.*

Raith landed in the transport to head to the villages and farms, getting to know the farming clans of the Mandalorians. He himself was more of an engineer, but it was good to have a grasp on the other forms of skills and labors handed down from generation to generation. With a small escort of four body guards he went from village to village, getting to know the farmer clans and their ways of tilling and harvesting, and asking what were the quantities of the yearly harvests. They told him a general estimate but it varied from year to year, based on weather, pests, vermin, birds, and other animals each year, and condition of farming equipment.

Finally satisfied that the food stores would be adequate, he left Concord Dawn on his ship, returning with the fleet and heading back to Mandalore. He was quite pleased with what he found here, he would have enough food to last him many crusades. He now had to look for other areas of the Mandalorian people to inspect once he went back to Mandalore. The time for crusade would be soon.

Clan Larkin landed in the Temple of Bushido, as the tanks rolled across the plains to unsuspecting villages. Overhead, and on the ground Drop Units rushed across the plains, to villages they had targeted. Kyuzo reached into the mind of his mount, and nodded. He gave the order and his clan rode into battle, using force speed, pushing his tiger across the plains ahead of the droids. He could see some defenses of the village ahead of them already set up and beginning to fire their blasters and whatever they hand on them but it was too late. Kyuzo dismounted as his tiger tore into a mandalorian. He unsheathed his katana and shoved it right into the neck of another mandalorian. This was a small village, but he knew bigger ones were nearby. The skirmish did not take too long, maybe a total of twenty minutes before he was covered in grime and blood. These were truly just unprepared farmers. He crackled electricity from his hands and set one of the crops on fire. He mounted back up and whistled to his troops, "seek out the villages, and tear them apart. Do not lose your lives needlessly, there are other battles to be fought. Our objective is to slow their food production. Destroy the crops, and take out all in your way."

"HAI!" They responded and linked up with the small attack force, hitting village after village.

Kyuzo sashed the throat of a mandalorian and kicked him back, then brought up the map of the area on his wrist gauntlet. He could tell what farms had been burned down and which of the major ones that were still left. He was impressed actually with how much the Mandalorians had improved under their seemingly impassioned mandalore. While he was now tied to the Dynasty by arranged marriage to keep the clans in line with the Dynasty, he was able to improve the lives of the people around him. Kyuzo extinguished his blade as he felt a ripple in the force, another scream, which only meant that the force was being rent again somewhere. As he looked on the map, he noticed one rather large settlement, almost like a small town or city. It was the Fett Homestead. It must have been a place to market goods, otherwise the roads wouldn't lead to it. From the warships scan of the area it looked like that if there was meant to be a counter offensive, it would come from there.

<<Kyuzo, I hear something...like thunder, and resolve,>> Saan spoke through his sabercat.

Kyuzo looked up and could see it in the distance, a sizeable force of canderous tanks were coming from the direction of the Fett Farm. His men weren't too far away, <<~My warriors, the enemy wants to show its teeth, rally up, and let the droids go in first.~>>

The relatively small detachment of nine hundred drop units, thirty tanks, and one hundred battle ready and mounted Clan Larkin members drew their lines. He kept about one hundred and fifty drop units behind his own men to prevent outflanking, and maneuvered the tanks to the flanks and kept about six in the middle He mixed his drop units so they were supporting their tanks, and he had the lines march towards the enemy. At once they were met with fire and mandalorian fury on an open wheat field.

Koyi had made full speed to Concord Dawn, informing Kyuzo's group of her arrival and her plans, as well as that the Kiffu Guardians and Dynasty were alerted and on their way. Making her way towards the planet, she set down not far from where the battles were being engaged, waiting for the Guardians to land so she could reinsert herself. What she didn't know, however, was the knew plans instated by Tyra. The division of teams, the newest addition of crafts, or that instead of jumping into a fight with the main ship and using the other groups to keep them defended, addition attack craft would be escorting the Guardians, some new and some from Kiffu's defense fleet.

"Kaneko," Kyuzo spoke as he got Koyi's message, he peered out across the smoldering wheat fields as he looked beyond them, the canderous tanks looked parkws to him, "the tanks aren't pushing forward fast. They must have troops behind them."

Kaneko looked through her Macrobinoculars and shrugged, "I see nothing."

"No infantry support...trying to draw us in," he whistled to a drop unit and pointed just over the ridge, "eyes in the sky and artillery fire over the ridge."

::Yes milord,:: the drop unit replied and six took off to view the battlefield while artillery rained down on the back most line of tanks.

Kyuzo recieved the message from Reaper, and after responding he contacted his sith warriors, ::Pull back to the landing zone, we're being relieved, we'll do a head count after.::

He heard a resounding, "~Hai!~" as he turned around and headed for the transports that he was coming down to collect him.

As the Venator penetrated the atmosphere and got low enough that the fire ships and LAAT/is could be deployed, all ships, including the A-wings poured out of the ship so that they could hurry to the surface and give aid as needed as well as to let the Venator return to orbit to help in the battle. The MC80 held back as it held no shields or weapons. Being a little bit from the current battle field, all ships, aside from the fire ships, pushed forward. The first concern for the fire ships were to put out the fires currently burning as all else pushed ahead. The LAATs found spots along the way, unloading Guardians sporadically to begin helping all they could. The A-wings, however, wasted no time in heading towards the battle.

However, the ships were only able to engage the drop ships and Sith warriors for a moment before the Combine Destroyers returned. It was at that moment the head of the assault force on the ground ordered all attacks on the Destroyers that had returned to retrieve those on the ground. The Guardians weren't about to just let the Machines and Sith go without cost. The Guardians themselves were aboard the LAATs and focused on civilian evacuation. But those piloting ships were meant to be in the fray, if only just a bit to divert attention and possibly quell some of the enemy's numbers. And that was before the Machine Empire's return. Now the pilots had a more active role in combat. And that's what they did. Missiles flew from the A-wings and LAATs that had unloaded their Guardians as laser fire pelted the ground where the Sith were. They would ensure there were losses. They refused to allow a complete victory.

Keeping tied in to both the communications of the Guardians as well as the Sith, Koyi did everything she could not to throw her headset across the console of the ship. The Guardians had increased the size of their fleet and worked to be capable of any orbital engagements. She hadn't expected it, but then again, it wasn't a surprise. Knowing Tyra, it was easy to understand her position, considering how things were unfolding. No longer could the Guardians just sit back and play helper of the helpless. They may not have fully become part of the alliance as the others, but they would be taking a more active role along side them as long as the Sith and Machines were a threat.

That didn't frustrate her, not even as the Dynasty fleet joined up. Of course their actions were going to draw attention. The point was the speed in which they could act against their enemies and in how many locations at once. But for all the boasting, the Machines and Sith were in retreat. The Sith was one thing, despite the agitation, because they were organic beings with one life. The Machines, however, was another matter. She didn't expect the cowardice from them. And now the plan to regroup with the Guardians was falling apart with this quick retreat. No conflicts had started with them on the ground, only the air support thus far. To best reinsert herself, she had to be fighting against the Machines and Sith. There was still a chance, though it would mean she'd have to do something more serious that would seem like a betrayal at first until she told them what was needed.

Getting the ship into the air, she blasted off with all the speed it could muster to intercept the transports and retreating Sith. As did the A-wings and LAATs, she unloaded her payload into the ships and warriors on the ground. After making a pass, she contacted Kyuzo.
::You fool. My infiltration back into the Guardians needs to be believable. For my cover story to work, I have to be seen fighting you. Now you're retreating before the Guardians have even made it to you. Luckily, I have a solution. Bring my ship down. At least by attacking you now, I still have a good chance to slip in without suspicion.::

Kyuzo's eyes turned towards the sky as he watched at least five of his warriors disappear in a pillar of fire. He did not like it as much either, but he did have a secondary task to complete, ::I must protect my clan's ship...it is our home...but I have not forgotten our arrangement.::

He delved into the force and force sped his Hrosama Tiger towards Koyi's ship from the ground. He tracked her ship and nodded to a few of the tank droids to begin to fire on Koyi's ship. He would catch her where it landed.

The Guardians aboard the LAAT noticed the ship fire on the Sith before being shot down. Ready to provide help, they turned and saw a single Sith riding on his mount towards her. Seeing that the occupant of the ship made it out, the ship begab firing at Kyuzo to make him retreat or hopefully kill him.
