It seemed like heaven to have Kurayami by her side again, restless nights and entangled bedsheets were frequent, and welcome. They weren't Archangel and Goddess. They were just two passionately in love beings, enthralled with one another, and bonded through the force. They made passionate music and emotions through the force, that resonated throughout the city, and those that worshipped Medrike as the deity she held herself to be. When she was elated, she let her whole island paradise know, and when she could the outer systems she controlled.

It was hours after and the night was still very much young. Medrike was sprawled out on her bed, and woke up with a start. A dark presence resonated across the galaxy. It was a sleeping entity, and it was as malicious as ever was. It was almost like it was within the confines of her lair. Or at least, within one of her own controlled systems. She shot up in bed and covered herself, looking back and forth in the empty spaces. She knew templars were there, she could sense them, but that was not what bothered her. It was a chilling and ancient presence, and her eyes widened, "Iron Hail..."

*To have been able to forget the needs of the galaxy for sometime was a welcome reprieve to Kurayami. He was simply enjoying the time he had with Medrike, as for how much longer it would last he was unsure. In the back of his mind he knew the time was approaching and that things would soon take a turn for the worse. This time though, he would not be caught unaware by Iron Hail. This was the endgame he had seen, though it was not ready to begin just yet.

Though the night was young both he and Medrike were worn out from their previous activities and slept peacefully for a time. Soon this was interrupted by a strong ripple of darkness. It brought a wry smile to his lips as he felt it. His eyes opened and he stretched as he rolled onto his back. Mid-Rim was the point of origin, that was where he had finally revealed himself. It was not however where the presence stayed. It faded for a time, before reappearing in the Outer Rim. Figuring out where would take time, but that was something Kurayami had more than enough of still. He nodded as he heard Medrike's words.*

Yes, dear he has finally revealed that he is going to be back. It was a fine show of power, but this is a situation I have been waiting for. Once the core disappeared from Raul's keeping I knew it would only be a matter of time. This is how it was supposed to happen. There will be many lost when he does return, on all sides, including civilians. That isn't the issue though. The issue is getting to and destroying their main base of operations on Raxus Prime. If however, we can manage that then we can reduce them to nothing more than the occasional menace as it would take a very long time to rebuild from such a disaster. They have other containment units, but Raxus is the main focus.

Besides without a strong leader they will have no choice but to resort to smaller raids and the Jedi will need something to help rebuild their reputation anyways. I never intended to completely annihilate his forces, just remove him from the picture once and for all. Still, we have plenty of time do not fret cyar'ika. All is as it should be.

From a ripple of change shall the storm rise
Out of the abyss peer the eyes of a demon
Behold the Razgriz, its wings of black sheath
The demon soars through dark skies
Fear and death trail its shadow beneath

"What if we don't assume we can focus on Raxus? What if we force their hand so they cannot expand beyond Raxus. If they have other containment units spread across the galaxy, let's neutralize them. They'll be forced to stick to Raxus, wherever Iron Hail decides to show himself. He is very cunning, being one of his generals once...I know where his containment units are. But that information is over fifty years old. I know for a fact that Iron Hail has other means to come into this world if he falls. The core is the most essential piece of the puzzle. Though he doesn't need a machine body to install it. He is a brilliant tactician, he will look for an alternate, more elusive manner to come back. It will be right under our noses. Mine more than yours I suspect. We should contact Raul and see how clone production goes, and send a few legions out to scout these derelict locations. Apologies for not using my wits as much before, but every time Iron Hail reemerges, it is a thousand times worse than the time before. He sets the stage for his plans eons in advance. Chances are there are multiple cores in play, each one capable of housing Iron Hail's machine spirit, and bridging the gap between data and the Force."

She rubbed her temple and sighed, "I think our honeymoon is over...we may have time, but Iron Hail is doing something, somewhere...waiting, and moving pieces that may seem unrelated...or watching pieces move that are unrelated..."

And how exactly do you plan to do such a thing? We are talking about an enemy with a nanovirus that can create droids from organic beings. As far as the containment units go, while attacking them in a viable option, I do not know of anyone with the knowledge of all locations currently. Iron Hail needed a new host body, and there was a surge from the dark presence I have been keeping tabs on. While his line is bright now I have a feeling it will become ever more visible soon. He seems to be set on the path he is following. The Sith in and of themselves are no threat, but if they have made a deal with the Machines then we could be in trouble. If Iron Hail uses one of them as a vessel it will be a far different fight than when he had a droid body. We have to find a way to destroy his presence in the Force itself.

I agree that we should send scouts to find the locations, check with Raul and once we know of the locations we can destroy them easily enough. Much as when I helped Vanessa with her coup d'etat. I have a few large vessels that have multiple redundant shield generators, are packed with baradium, and two extra hypermatter annihilation reactors installed. They are completely AI controlled and escorted by AI starfighters that also have a destructive charge placed in them. Certainly not as advanced but the sheer force of those reactors going critical should be enough to take out the containment units. The Cores are easier to deal with once found.

*He sighed when she rubbed her temple.*

It would seem so, but it is something we can always go back to given that we have more than enough time for such things once the Machines are no longer as large a threat. Iron Hail is our focus, let Raith and others worry about the other pieces. He may watch many pieces, but those shrouded in Darkness are safe enough. Sometimes your enemy is also your greatest ally.

"Where there are sith it is because the Jedi are rising as well. They are almost symbiotic. Naturally I would expect a sith to take power of his own accord, but what is there to gain by siding with the Machines? Something is off, or a hammer will soon be dropped. As you said, his line is bright, but when will the hammer be? We are going to play this as Iron Hail has already returned or is in the process of returning. Our dynasty is strong, and resilient, I am sure I could hand the task of finding the containment units over to Raul. I know of most of the older locations. If they are in use, I do not know. He'll have fun with a scouting mission, he's awfully cooped up in R&D working with his fluffs."

She wriggled out from the sheets and ruffled her thick blonde hair, even after a heated night, her hair seemed to glow as the rest of her soft white skin did. Whether or not it was a product of the ritual, her force power, or her benevolent heart that created a perpetual aura of light around her was a mystery. Her chest rose as she inhaled deeply, and she exhaled slowly, sighing at the notion of leaving her bed and cave. It was time to work, and be a goddess of direction and purpose.

"Be sure to spend time with your daughter, and Iris as well. They will need you more than I, despite my fervent love for you, Iris won't be around forever," Medrike chuckled as she rose out of her bed and walked over to the bath pool to rinse herself off, grabbing soap and working it into a lather, "A rather unrelated note, but not so unrelated as not worth mentioning, this war will pull you away from many things, but family should not be one of them, not anymore. I will be formulating my own battle plans, after all, I was Iron Hail's connection to the Void. I know a fair bit about where he could go, or where his presence could be residing. Chances are he is both part of the force, and has a bridge between the force and a data stream. He can only go to his datastream in the physical every so often, it takes a toll on him. The visions come from the force, and once in a while he can issue a command or two from a data center. If we want a prolonged war, we can ignore the data center, if we want to stop him from ever coming back here and now, we can find and destroy the data center. I believe sending Rayce on this mission would be wise. I sense he misses the front lines. I could also call for a more, delicate hand in the matter. Shas'O the templar leader could get it done by himself."

What is there to gain? Simple, Iron hail needs a new body, and has no access to his core yet. Or if he does he is considering other options seeing as how we were able to defeat him without too much loss of life on Coruscant. I would think that he is trying to find a route that would help him keep a lower profile until he is ready to strike. If he could manage to merge with a human or other Force user he would be harder to kill than his droid for was. And he wouldn't need to be a hulking frame to contain his power any longer. Raul would have a great time running about the galaxy and trying to find or eliminate containment units. I see no reason not to send him out towards the old ones that may be abandoned, the more we can get as far as information on their operation goes, the better.

Admittedly, Kurayami didn't exactly feel like diving back into the galaxy right now either, he was enjoying his downtime even if the company had screwed up on a simple request. That was able to be rectified by refits to the existing designs. All in all it would be fine, though it still annoyed him given the amount that they got paid. Galactically recognized experts who demanded well into six figure salaries for each project which he was willing to pay for the best in their fields , but then they go and pull shit like this? Damn it all.

*Kurayami stood and began dressing, he was used to the armored robes by now so it took relatively little time for him to be suited up again. He looked around the 'cave' as Medrike liked to refer to it smiled. This was no longer a place of complete solitude for her, rather he would be here with her. Somewhere they could safely fade from the attention of the galaxy.*

Indeed, I was planning on visiting her soon and seeing how she and the child are doing. I also need to check up on Ki'ala soon as well. Once things start to heat up it will be very unlikely that I will get to spend much time with either of them outside of the battlefield. I am prepared for any type of conflict, so I will leave that decision up to you. I am sure Rayce would love to get his armor painted with blood yet again, though I doubt if he will ever truly be able to get over the fact that I ended up taking his position as Archangel. Perhaps send Shas'o to tail Rayce and make sure the job gets done. Not out of doubt of Rayce's skill, but to make sure that the attack is able to be kept out of public view so as not to alert Iron Hail to such a move early.

There was a split in the fabric of time, and Shas'O, as if on cue, came to the chambers of Medrike. He was wearing simple robes, dressed as a commoner, indistinguishable from anything except for his shaved head. He did not waver, or shake like the others did. He was calm, collective, and his eyes resonated with purpose.

"I apologize for my tardiness, but this was received by Second Sisters Legion Commander, Natalie Yun, at the Sisters Belkadan Base. The Vong Tech Labs were out of contact for months, we know why now. We had assumed it was a simple Vong siege that could have been handled by the security force in place, but we were wrong, the disk will explain more, but the situation with the Kothryn has become much more complicated, if you send anyone there, it will have to be a templar." He handed the holo disc over to Kurayami and Medrike.

"In other news, Samantha and Jester both have been missing for a full twenty four hours, a Gavin Phoenix has taken them somewhere even I cannot sense them at. If you want me to claim a kidnapping I need an order from one of you," Shas'o was not disturbed by Medrike's nudity or even Kurayami's.

Medrike was not disturbed by the drop in, she grew used to it. She was more worried about how Kurayami would react, but she took the disk to play it later, "I sensed the disappearance of both of the women, but Gavin aided in the battle for Manaan. I am sure they are fine, wherever they are."

"Very well, as for the other goings on, the jedi fleet has reached their final destination before coruscant, Kuat. They are awaiting their outfit of fighters, bombers, support craft, and vehicles. Raul saw to the efficiency of their travels rather well. Your force sensitive Sisters are trained and ready for combat Archangel, Ki'ala made sure they were ready. Managed to get former Matron Sierra Balar out of retirement to train his half of them. I think that is it for the most pertinent information, no news on sith or machine activity. They're quiet again," Shas'o answered.

*Kurayami looked up from his datapad, finishing scanning over multiple reports from all different places on the Holonet. THings had changed quite a bit and for some reason the Machines were...quiet. There was little in the way of activity from them or the Sith. To hear this was disturbing to say the least, but in the end it would lead to the same outcome, he would make sure of that, no matter the personal cost. Shas'O's report was acknowledged with a curt nod from Kurayami as he took a deep breath before responding.*

"Thank you for the information Shas'O. I am glad to hear about the Sisters finishing their training under Ki'ala. As for the Princesses of the Dynasty, I must agree with Medrike on this one. I have fought beside Gavin and known the man for a long time, even during his training with Dark Jedi long ago. He will do what he must to keep them safe, but again it is good to know that you saw need to inform us.

You say the Kothryn situation is more complex now? Choose one of your finest Templars to send if you deem it necessary.

I must applaud Raul on his effots to get the Jedi fleet modernized and ready for the coming storm. I thank you yet again for your report and continuing service Shas'O."

*As he spoke, Kurayami finished dressing and picked up his helmet walking over to Medrike and giving her a quick kiss goodbye before sealing it to his suit. After doing so he made his way out to his ship and determined it was time to go see Iris and check up on her. Medrike was right that she wouldn't be around forever, and it was a sad thought, but not one he dwelt on for too long as he made the jump.*

*Sophia knelt and raised her shield against Rayce's incoming blow from his halberd. It resonated in the training chamber with a clang. She shoved the halberd away and came down with her sword against his torso on his right side. Rayce blocked with the butt of the halberd and then came in with the butt with a thrusting motion right at her torso. Medrike spun on her heels from the block and the polearm met against her shield in her left hand again. Her shoes squeaked against the granite floor as she was pushed back but her stance was unbroken. It was a forceful blow from Rayce, but she was able to hold her ground.

::You still have the training you received from the dragon...but it is certainly not as aggressive as it once was. Are you sure Iron Hail is back my Queen? If he is, I cannot wait to sink my blade into his metal hull. The Dynasty will reign over those who dare defy your love and your grace. Those that bring pain on the weak will be punished by death. Your will is absolute, and your embrace is ever wide. With both the Kothryn and the Machines now in play again, the galaxy will have need of us more than ever. May the battles be long, and the ground littered with the foes that defy your compassion.:: Rayce spoke as he set his halberd down.

"Never truer more loyal words have been spoken from one of my most trusted and diligent children," Medrike wiped the sweat from her brow, but felt beads trickle down her neck, "I lost the dragon of the abyss, and became the true spirit of light the void could not hold onto. Yet, I still bleed and feel like anyone else. This war will be the worst one yet, thousands of my children, affiliated or not, will perish in the upcoming fights. That is to be expected though, but you were always an eager one for a wet blade," She chuckled and looked up at the towering power armored figure before her.

Her eyes glowered a moment, when she felt a tickle run down her spine, a shadow...and a challenge, "Rayce...you are not to leave my side. Someone is coming..."

"The presence won't be coming here...I can feel him encircling me, he's going to bring me to him through his shadow means," Medrike glowered, and gripped her sword with white knuckles. She relaxed and reached into the force, and felt herself becoming warm and illuminated with positive force energy. She knew that this would make him hone in on her presence, but whoever it was, she would be ready with her phrik sword and hopla. She got into a defensive stance, that would allow her to leap and swing the moment whatever he had planned to do would work. She knew Kurayami would only worry once her presence was cut off for a few seconds.

"When Kurayami gets here, explain my disappearance exact, he'll know what to do," Medrike nodded to them.

"I would rather take no chances...I'm calling it," Shas'o spoke as he rippled into the cathedral. "I am pulling two legions of cross bearers into the cathedral square now, the temple guards are already at the narthex inside the cathedral, with another two guards at the back door. In the hallway will be two templars. Rayce, you will be here, with me, and four more templars, and four other temple guards. If this is a sith trick, we will be ready. Chances are they'll bypass as much as possible. If they take you, we still can call upon some powerful allies to find you. May the void protect us." Shas'o closed his eyes and threw off his cloak, revealing his armor. As he let the void envelop him, his skin became necrotic grey, and his eyes a lidless black. He disappeared entirely, as did the remaining templars in the cathedral, all powering up the same way and disappearing into nothingness.

Two bearer legions fully armed with 100 MPA backups enter the market square. They begin the process of clearing out the square early. The tourists and the locals were less than pleased, but they filed out as quickly as they were told to. The two legions, of one thousand each set up a perimeter around the doors of the Cathedral, and shut down the marketplace for the time being. They set up their main crowd control weapons and their legions in rank and file formations to make it more of an obstacle for whatever was coming. They were white armored troops, with purple trimmings along the edges of their armor. They were bulky soldiers, and rearing for a fight.

"I do not follow your orders Templar, only the Goddess herself..." Rayce scoffed and put on his helmet, clicking it into place, "If she is taken, I will scour the galaxy for those responsible, or find retribution by other means. Pray that this entity has connections that would prove useful, and show him the consequences of his actions. This is not a place where one can simply walk in and seek challenge to our Goddess. It is unacceptable and beyond degrading."

*Gavin reached the beginning of the market square and immediately noticed the mass of soldiers there. He couldn't help but smirk, seeing truly, for the first time, the kind of fear and caution a Shadow could create alone. Just for simply giving off the sense he was here and coming for her, it seemed an army was rolled out to meet him. Just as the arrival of all ten Templars on Coruscant, this was flattering and humbling. He knew that the details were uncertain as to the power he possessed, just how many were around, or even his alignment, but to think that they chose this approach certainly brought insight to the lost truth he had discovered.

For a moment, he played at the thought of utilizing his power against the soldiers, not so much as fight them as walk the shadows enough that it would catch their attention and cause them to scramble. It would certainly cause some discord and perhaps settle in a layer of fear. But as fun as it would be, doing so would draw attention and more soldiers, if not the Templars, would come, creating only more obstacles in getting to Medrike. Also, playing it such a way greatly risked the illusion Shadow Walking had. Shadow Walking covered the user in shadows, erasing details and appearing nothing more than a simple black shadow. Added to it, the position of the user would always seem as a shadow, laying across the ground or up against the wall, even if he was right behind them. He could walk in a person's shadow and be easily seen as it. But his movements had to be smooth and casual at best. Any quick movements would make him more prone to be noticed. He couldn't risk that.

Sticking to the edges of the market, Gavin progressed through the shadows, unfortunately not having any alleys this time to aid his movements. There was quite a bit of ducking, and even some crawling to stay within the shadows of the buildings and anything else around him. Then there came a point where he had to move close to the soldiers. He was patient in these moments, waiting for certain groups to turn their heads slightly as he stepped into one's shadow, then navigated between a few as heads turned, no doubt each of them looking around as they stay vigilant to keep the cathedral and Medrike safe. Finally, having a point he could slip back against the buildings, he moved from the ranks back against the wall. It was quite the question if and when anyone noticed a moving shadow, but he always made sure to keep the distance short to quickly disappear again.

From there, he had a somewhat clear path to the entrance to the cathedral, still using the shadows cast by the buildings. It wasn't too much longer before he slipped inside. Here, he saw more guards moving about. However, there were more shadows, allowing him to move a little easier. Closing his eyes, he took a moment to take in the feelings around him. At this close proximity, it was easy to sort out her direction without giving himself away. With that, he moved, occasionally through the middle, and sometimes to the edge. He progressed down the hall until he got close. Here there were two guards moving back and forth as they kept their eyes open and checking larger space than standing still. Their mistake. He waited patiently once again until one walked close to him and passed by. Stepping into his shadow, he followed behind him, always keeping his own reflexes up to move in time with him and keep from drawing the attention of the other. Reaching a shadow close to the door, he entered it and knelt down as it was a low one.

He knew Medrike waited on the other side. He was also uncertain how how many waited with her, but undoubtedly she had some guards and most likely, some Templars. At this point, Gavin began to use Shadow Speaking, letting the shadows within the room convey the information he desired. Through this, he learned that there were five soldiers. He didn't stir them to discover the position and number of Templars as it would give him away, but it didn't matter. He had what he needed as he began to slowly shimmer away, using solely the Shadows to move, keeping him undetected as his body faded, staying a shadow and working to take shape again on the shadow of one of the soldiers inside.*
"There is no road,no simple highway, between the dawn and the dark of night. And if you go, no one may follow, for that path is for your steps alone...."

Something didn't settle right with Rayce. He could sense one of the temple guards feeling a bit off with his signature. There was barely a difference with his vitals from what he could sense, but something felt off. A heaviness? It was enough for him to grab his shield and halberd, and draw upon the force, before stomping over to the main doors and busting them open with his foot. Knocking both temple guards to the ground. He used his wrist mounted slug thrower and blasted the hallway with white phosphorous rounds for a moment before using a combination of force jump and his jump jets to land back in position. He appeared to be the only presence in the room beyond Medrike but there was a vacuum of energy all around. An absence of power or life was present in the room.

"In the name of Anguish, foul beast! Show yourself and bear witness to your retribution!" Rayce could not see the entity, but the two temple guards were completely knocked out now. He crouched behind his shield with his halberd out.
True salvation is only achieved through Anguish.

*From where he stood, Gavin couldn't help but smirk all the more. He was quite curious what had caused the man to react, seeing that his presence was hidden and walking close to another wouldn't affect them either. Was this man so on guard that the slightest alterations around him made him act? For some reason, his mind wanted to say this was the case, but there was nothing to prove the fact. All that he knew was that despite his actions, Gavin was still completely hidden away from his sight.

And that was good. He was already in the process of shimmering away, and with the doors open and this man here, it made his job much easier than before. Now he clearly knew his target as he moved from his place in the shadows to being hidden in Rayce's own shadow. Whether he'd feel off or never feel a thing was a mute point now. His way in was clear. When he went in and the doors shut, his fun would begin.*

Shas'o frowned from his perch. The lights above the ceiling and around the walls and pillars turned on, as bright as they could be, to minimize the silhouettes from the normal sky light. shadows would not be a problem when the lights were on from a 360 degree view. Or so the Templars thought. Shas'o despised the knight's lack of tact, but it did allow the prey to move forward. There had been many years worth of precautions made for most, if not all types of infiltration for those wishing to see Medrike. As he figured, their opponent was a Shadow, and the lunk of a knight solidified that fact when he sensed something amiss with the temple guards. Shadows give no energy signal, not like the force. Much like the void. Rayce was smart, in his own right, and now with barely shaded silhouettes and no outright shadows in the room. His version of stealth would be far less useful. The remaining golden armored temple guards moved in, and four templars including Shas'O rippled into existence. They were a ripple of maelstrom energy, as if they were caught in their own vacuum. They swayed back and forth, with their eyes lidless black, and their mouths agape. Their swords were drawn and they moved in and surrounded Medrike.

"Walk away, Shadow...this is your only warning, otherwise this will end very badly for you," Shas'O came forward to the cloaked man, jumping off his perch.

*Gavin squinted a bit as the lights came on. He had to give them some credit for their preparations. Luckily, faint shadows did remain as they came off of Rayce. For the moment that Rayce remained unmoving, the illusions continued to hold true, ever when against one that was much fainter. But that was the only way at current in which he still remained hidden. He also saw that the Templars had revealed themselves and where they thought he might have been. But Gavin still remained hidden for the moment. It could be said that even the Shadows were prepared for such actions.

But he wasn't a fool. His little game only lasted as long as Rayce remained where he was and he doubted it would remain that way long. Deciding to bring things to a close, he spoke. However, there were things about the voice that required careful notice. For one, the voice didn't sound like Gavin's. Rayce, Medrike, even all the Templars knew what he sounded like and this wasn't anything close to it. He spoke with a bit of a higher pitched raspy voice. What else would be noticed is that it didn't come from behind Rayce but resonated throughout the entire chamber, making it near impossible to pinpoint.*

"Ah, I must to you the credit that is due. I admit that even I wasn't prepared for such a defense. However, it didn't work quite as well as you hoped it would, did it? Even now, I remain hidden from you. But I guess there is no longer a reason to play this game."

*Without the slightest movement being made anywhere, Rayce would feel a fingering pressing into his back, which would make him move forward and turn around. Only then, would he be seen. But despite the light, he was still covered completely in shadow, separate from anything and standing tall. A hand raised itself and a snap of the fingers could be heard as the shadows seemed to melt off of him into nothing. His face remained hidden within the shadows of his hood as he smirked, the door to the chamber slamming shut as the last shadow peeled away.

He then raised his other hand as if surrendering, though that was far from the truth.*
"Please, point your swords and guns at me if it helps you relax."

*The Templars would remember their encounter with Gavin, knowing that he was confident and unwavering. Yet, the confidence this man presented was much more cocky and seemed to possess something crazy in the tone of his voice. Yet, he had entered the chamber without being seen, and despite the feelings from Rayce and the Templars, it was Gavin would revealed himself to them. This would suggest he had something up his sleeve and possibly came prepared for them, making simply attacking him an unwise decision, at least without getting some answers. There were certainly enough around to keep him from going anywhere anyway, at least it could be assumed.*

"Shadow...this is too far...too much. I am afraid I cannot vouch for your stupidity. You've made yourself an enemy by showing yourself here today. You made a mockery of the Dynasty, my children all willing to fight and die for me. You insult them, and you insult my prowess. In MY home! UHL TURHAYA! The bright star is what this place is, a place of light, love, and my embrace. Yet you come here to seek me out? For what?" Medrike pushed her guard away, and from her toes to her head, her body became illuminated with a golden glow. Her clothes ruffled, and the air around the chamber became peaceful, the force itself became visible as golden dust that sparkled in the bright beams of the lights that had turned on. The power around her increased and the air swirled, becoming a mix of blue force energy and golden dust. She got into a defensive stance behind her shield, and gripped her sword. Whatever shadows existed were entirely gone. There was light in all corners of the room, under every table, and behind every pillar.

"No...I am afraid...it is you who needs to point their sword at me! The templars, the guards, the knights, the sisters, the bearers, the archangel, and the matriarch...do not hold a candle to what replaced the void dragon within me. I am the goddess of light, the protector of the weak, the bearer of pains, the defender against the instigators! I am Medrike!" Her long single braid unravelled and began to whisp with the flow of light from her benevolence, and the force nexus that she was now tied to. The display alone was impressive enough, and now with no where to hide. No shadows anywhere, she glared straight at the shadow before her, "Gavin, if you do not cease your instigation, I will not stop the fleet that is now headed to Kiffu...and I will brand you an enemy of the Dynasty. You have once chance to tell me what you are doing here."

*All fun and games stopped when Medrike mentioned the fleet heading to Kiffu. In those few words, it was like she had declared war with him. Even a slight growl could be heard emanating from him. His fists tightened ever slow slightly before he let them fall loose again. When he spoke this time, the tone of his voice changed once again, no longer the raspy voice he used, nor was it his regular voice. It was deep and serious, but at the same time unmoved by the display. He tilted his head back, though his face remained hidden in the shadows of the hood, unaffected by the light.*

"Very well. I came to speak with you, yet you have gathered too many ears."

*Before a word could be stated from another, he was instantly out of sight, phased away. Thanks to pulling away from the guards, it allowed him to appear back to back with her. Even more, he had spent this time talking to already begin the process for the distance they'd be going as well as focusing on Medrike. It was only a second more that Gavin blinked out of sight, Medrike with him. The destination: Naza Minor.*

A gateway opened up and miko ran through, he panted a moment then looked up, "Shadows, Medrike stressed, what's going on?"

"Gavin carted her off to force knows where, we're putting out an APB on him. A fleet is being sent to Kiffu to glass it before more shadows rise from their ranks," Shas'O responded.

*Kurayami transmitted to the surface over an encrypted frequency that he had Medrike onboard and was inbound to the Cathedral. He waited as the message was processed and verified as coming from his craft. The Avadon had never been registered in the normal sense. It was given a randomized list of names as well as false registration documents that linked to multiple databases throughout the galaxy. Though each would show it to be registered under the name, the model was listed as an experimental design. Given that none had ever been sold and remained in storage at a secured BE Black Ops facility, it was taken to be a one off. The tag was one that had been used here before, 'Amaranth' an odd name but it was the first one that had been transmitted long ago when the Avadon shuttle had first visited Manaan.

In a few minutes the request was cleared, and once they saw where the ship was headed a platform was revealed behind the Cathedral, one that had not been visible even a few moments ago. Though the ship that landed upon it was an odd sight, it too soon disappeared. There were sound and sensor dampeners installed around the lift that operated the platform and the blast doors that covered it. This was completed with an optical stealth coating on the outer portion of the blast doors, allowing for it to remain undetected.

Once the shuttle was settled into its undeerground bay, Kurayami lowered the ramp and allowed Meddrike to lead the way into her chambers. As they entered his datapad went off and he checked to see what was such a pressing concern. The message was brief but prompted a call to BE over the private holonet channel he kept.

[[::As you may have noticed I am contacting you directly. I just landed at the place where the armor is to arrive. That is all well and good, but who the hell decided that the Tempests were to be retired for a new model? This was not an order that I sent.::]]

*A few moments passsed as the techs looked through the databases.*

[[::Sir, the orders came from your datapad shortly before the request for the armor was sent. There were no designs included, those were sent later from Razgriz 2. She had been working on a design and we believe it was intended for you to review, but with it coming so soon after your message about upgrades, we decided to retire the Tempests and proceed with Project Havoc. The prototype will be included with the new armor for you and Anguish. Once everything is there and we can confirm it is delivered, you will have the specifications sent to you for review.::]]

*Kurayami simply sighed and cut the feed, he could only hope that they had at least done a good job on the redesign. He took a deep breath to center himself before turning to Medrike with a slight smile.*

Welcome home.
When history witnesses a great change Razgriz reveals itself, first as a dark demon
As a demon it uses it's power to rain death upon the land, and then it dies
However after a period of slumber Razgriz returns...
Amidst the eternal waves of time
From a ripple of change shall the storm rise
Out of the abyss peer the eyes of a demon
Behold the Razgriz, its wings of black sheath
The demon soars through dark skies
Fear and death trail its shadow beneath
Until men united wield a hallowed sabre
In final reckoning, the beast is slain
As the demon sleeps, man turns on man
His own blood and madness soon cover the earth
From the depths of despair awaken the Razgriz
Its raven wings ablaze in majestic light.

"And the city is no worse for wear in my absence, Vanessa is certainly a capable leader," She looked around at her great palace, as if it was unfamiliar for a few moments though it was just to make sure everything was where she left it. Medrike was relieved to be home, and while Kurayami was away, she slipped off her current gown, for a different white one. She had been wearing the same one for at least a week. It felt good to slip into new clothes. She too had plans, it wasn't too long ago that she had been kidnapped by Gavin. She and he were just two different people with their powers and abilities. It saddened her to think that there was reason to just unleash her potential for the coming battles with the machines just to know if she could. Still, there was something she needed to address, aside from the machines. There was only one person capable to accomplish it, with the help of a templar or two. She had to look no further as one of the templars rippled into view in front of her.

"You wish for my services Anguish?" his raspy voice gasped as if his throat was being crushed as he spoke, he swayed back and forth and waited for her response.

"I want you and Rayce to go investigate the vong territories, we may be preparing for the machines, but I want that abandoned facility checked out," she replied.

"I will let him know, but he is not agreeable to templar orders," The templar rasped.

"He is agreeable to me," Medrike spoke sternly.

"Very well," the templar rippled away.

Medrike sat on the bed after that, and retrieved a brush, and started to brush out her hair, "Looks like we do have work to do."
